Stinger's Thoughts on CM Punk's ECW Championship Win

This weeks ECW was good for one thing, CM Punk finally winning the ECW Championship. Sure, he only won it at this time because Morrison is suspended for the whole Signature scandal, but that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is WWE just made the best decision ever, as it relates to the ECW brand.

The rest of the show was a stinker, same old stuff. But I'm a mark for CM Punk and have been for quite some time, so I'm very pleased with WWE at the moment.

Punk is an extremely talented wrestler, and is just as good as an entertainer. Now, he's a champion in the WWE, becoming the only man in history to hold the ROH and ECW Championship.

If you didn't see the title change, I suggest you go to WWE.com later this week and watch the complete match on the Hardcore Hangover webcast. It was a very good TV match, and I'm not just referring to Punk winning the ECW Championship either.
